Indian Elephant Tie
We saw one – yes, that’s right – a real Indian Elephant. We sat there with a pen and pad and sketched it over 300 times. Each version got better and better. Day and night we sat there, feverishly sketching, shirts soaked with sweat until this guy with a smooth, swirly moustache came up to us and said, ‘enough’. That’s when we knew we had designed a more than OK Indian Elephant Necktie.
Our hand-sewn method allows the Indian Elephant Tie to show extraordinary detail as there is little machinery used in the crafting of this tie. Touches such as these make all the difference. Indian Elephants are ‘mega herbivores’ and can eat over 100kg of plant material each day. Inspired by the large and loveable elephant, our Indian Elephant Necktie exudes sophistication and is hand cut and sewn on a classic navy backing. Designed exclusively by The Brothers at OTAA.
